Maple Workbench

A good workbench must accomplish a few things. First, it must be sturdy. It’s the foundation you work on, and if it moves, your work will be shaky. Second, it must have sufficient work holding. A pair of vises and a series of shop made dogs offer all the work holding you’ll ever need. Finally, a large area to work that is free of tools and clutter is a necessity. A built-in tool tray and tool holder means the spacious worksurface will always be clean, while your tools are still close at hand.
